PAWEŁ MIZIARSKI
POLISH PRO TRIATHLETE
MY STORY
I engage in sports since I was a kid - I trained e.g. athletics, football, basketball and sport water rescue. I developed my fascination in triathlon as a 16-year-old. Back then I didn't have a suitable gear to take part in competitions so each year since 2006 I took part in aquathlon (swim + run), street runs and open water swimming races. I started solid trainings directed on triathlon in 2011.
As an amateur (combining training with work) I have come through a long way. At first I didn't have sufficient triathlon gear (I swam without a wetsuit, I took part in races on trekking bike) but despite this I sticked to skillfully selected training methods. As a result I developed. After first successes I found sponsors and with time my racing gear was getting better and better.
Since season 2014 I dedicated my trainings to 70.3 races. In August 2015 I won a slot to IRONMAN 70.3 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Sunshine Coast 2016 in which I took part the following year.
Since 2017 I compete in PRO cathegory worldwide.
